All rooms are only available during library opening hours. There is no after-hours access.

Library hours means the period of 9.30am – 5:00pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 9.30am – 8:00pm Thursday and 9.30am - 3:00pm Saturday.

Venue Rooms & Capacity:

  1. Puaka room– max. 4 people (inside library)
  2. Matariki room – max 6-8 people (Inside library)
  3. Rehua room – max 20 people (outside library, faces Rankeilor Street)
  4. Te Pae o Māhutoka – max 20 people (outside library, faces King Edward Street)

Equipment provided:

  1. Puaka room: table, chairs, wifi, 55” wall-mounted monitor suitable for presentations and video conferencing
  2. Matariki room: table, chairs, wifi, tables, 55” wall-mounted monitor suitable for presentations and video conferencing, hot/cold drinks tap
  3. Rehua room: tables, chairs, wifi, 55” wall-mounted monitor suitable for presentations and video conferencing, kitchenette with accessible features and tea-making facilities
  4. Te Pae o Māhutoka: tables, chairs, wifi, 55” wall-mounted monitor suitable for presentations and video conferencing, kitchenette with accessible features and tea-making facilities
